What is the Undreaming?

I once tried to think what is the undreaming but couldnt came with any data except it is called undreaming and it exists so I gave up

i can only answer what would I turn the undreaming into if I was to write chapters...

Ok, here I go...
So, undreaming and dreaming the same, one; there's nothing that exists only like itself, there's always is another side of everything, and one side is not always knowing what other side is doing; so undreaming and dreaming are the same;the undreaming is counterpart to dreaming; when worlds were divided the undreaming couldn't stand so many dreams passing through the divide between worlds so it hide; when westhouse gone through the divide, undreaming hid into him, but he was drunk and undreaming couldn't do anything, when he got undrunk, the undreaming used him. now he is controled by the undreaming, but not all the time, only the time undreaming needs him and he knows nothing about that. as for what undreaming wants, I don't want to think about that, I'll let Ragnar to do it

No, not bad. Your story actually fits with some of my theories. One of these were that the Undreaming is natural opposite to the dreaming, because, "here is a natural dichotomy to the Balance. Positive and negative, reality and dream...being and unbeing.". So I was thinking maybe the Undreaming and Dreaming were supposed to exist in Balance with each other. But now the Squishy is "unchained", meaning that the balance between them is abolished?

I'll break the rules and speculate what does the squishy want. Key sentence from dreamfall was said by that good looking dragon kin in dark peoples library. She said that probably "enemy" wants to destroy all obstacles so it can do anything with having no enemy.
OH jeah! I got an idea - What if dark people are the ones who control squishy, that would be COOOOOL!
The dark people want control of the world; One of them becomes the new kin

But the Dark people were the messengers of the Blu of the Kin, why would they work for a "creature" who hunts it? Too little salary?O_o

When they have total control of squishy, now they need to destroy kins and nobody can do something to them, and maybe they on puropse didn't let April on ship by saying she's not wave, they taught she could be dangerous, but their perfect library is more important than not letting april board the ship, and that means only April can stop htem, it means April is alive! It's alive!
We are on trail of something with this dark person conspiracy...

Come to think of it, the dark people might actually be related to the undreaming, or at least, to the Dreaming. I don't remember where it wa told (or is it just my imagination?) but one day, when they collect everyhing ever written, they will go to sleep... relates to dreaming, I think

I think it's hard to guess the motives of a race so very different from your own. To me, it sounds perfectly plausible.

About the Undreaming, I've always interpreted that name as like Destroyer of Dreams. But... I seem to recall we've discussed this recently

That's the point. They're so different from human (ish) race, I thought they were fre of this lust for power and such. But maybe they can be "tainted" as well?

To be honest, in TLJ they seemed to me like a bunch of high-bred jerks with egos (sorry, with one common ego) bloated to the size that even the Blue could see them without squinting. I could attribute any kind of evil to them. Even D.P.
